Afarin Obisi, born on March 12, 1951, is an Iranian actress. She began her career in cinema with the film "Layla and Majnun" directed by Siyamak Yasemi in 1970. In the same year, she played a role in the film "Toqi" directed by Ali Hatami, alongside Behrouz Vossoughi. After a hiatus from acting, she returned to the cinema in 1999 with a role in the film "Shohrat," directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia. In 2000, she had a brief role in the film "Children and Soldiers," directed by Reza Mir-Karimi. One of her notable performances after a long absence from acting was in the film "Hidden Half" in 2001.
