Hamidreza Azarang (born 1972) is an Iranian actor, writer, and director. He received the Cinema House Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film "Queen" (2011) and has won five awards at the Fajr Theater Festival for various achievements, including writing and acting, in productions such as "Two Liters in Two Liters of Peace" and "Coolness at the End of Memory." He has also been nominated for the Crystal Simorgh Award for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best First Film at the 39th Fajr Film Festival for the film "A Day in Abadan" (2020) and has received nominations at various national and international theater and cinema festivals.

Azarang, a member of the board of directors of the Theater Actors Association, earned his bachelor's degree in clinical psychology from Rodehen Azad University in 1997. He has garnered numerous cinematic awards, including the Cinema House Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2014 for his role in "Queen." Additionally, he has won five Fajr Theater Festival awards for acting and writing. Notable among these are two Fajr Theater Festival awards for acting (for performances in "Blood of the Dance" in 2011 and "Four Tales" from the Rahman Tales in 2004), three awards for best writing (for writing the plays "Coolness at the End of Memory" in 2009, "Two Liters in Two Liters of Peace" in 2011, and "Imaginary on Parallel Lines" in 2006), and an honorary plaque for writing the play "Turn" in 2012.

Azarang's play "A Day in Abadan," which he wrote and directed, received special recognition at the 2005 Fajr Theater Festival. He has been nominated multiple times at the Fajr Festival in various categories and won the Best Male Theater Actor award at the Seventh Theater Actors Festival for his performances in "People of Qabor" and "Coolness at the End of Memory."

In a July 23, 2016, episode of the "Khandevaneh" program, Azarang shared, "My father is from Golpayegan. My mother is also from Golpayegan. I was born in Tehran, and when I was one year old, we went to Khuzestan for my father's job. I grew up there, served in the army in Sumar, and studied in Rodehen University." He further emphasized, "I strongly believe that I took shape in the south. I was in Andimeshk from the age of one to eighteen."
