Pourandokht Mahiman : پوراندخت مهیمن : was born in 1953 in the Abbasabad neighborhood of Isfahan, Iran. She is a well-known actress with an associate degree from the University of Art. Her father was an immigrant from Azerbaijan, originally bearing the surname Ghaziyef, which was later changed to Mahiman after settling in Iran.

Family Background: Pourandokht Mahiman is one of five sisters, all close-knit and supportive of each other. Their father named them alphabetically: Ashraf, Badrolzaman, Pourandokht (herself), and the twins, Turandokht and Soraya, who were five years younger than Pourandokht.

Tragic Loss: Tragically, several years ago, her sister Turandokht, along with her husband and their 15-year-old daughter, died in a plane crash. They were traveling from Isfahan to Tehran when their Fokker aircraft, due to technical failure, crashed into the Karkas mountains, leading to the loss of all passengers on board, including Pourandokht's beloved sister and her family.
