Biography

Yaghma Golrouee began his literary journey by forming poetry reading sessions at his father's house along with fellow artists Afshin Yadollahi, Niloufar Laripour, Saeed Amiraslani, Afshin Siahpoosh, and Mehdi Mohtasham. These gatherings eventually evolved into the "House of Lyrics." However, after nearly a decade, Golrouee publicly separated from the group, expressing dissatisfaction with how the sessions were managed.

In May 1998, Yaghma Golrouee published his first poetry collection, "I Said: Stay! She Didn't..." through the Darinoosh Cultural and Artistic Institute. Since then, he has released numerous works spanning poetry, lyrics, translations, screenplays, and reimaginings of texts.
