The film features performances by Alireza Motamedi, Baran Kosari, Hanieh Tavassoli, Fereshteh Hosseini, Mani Haghighi, Linda Kiani, Nahal Dashti, Amirhossein Fathi, and Ali Mosaffa. It was showcased at the 41st Fajr International Film Festival, where Meysam Molaei won the Crystal Simorgh award for Best Editing for his work on this film.

Plot Summary: 
Chera Gerye Nemikoni ? tells the story of Ali Shahnaz, who has lost both his parents and feels responsible for taking care of his recently married younger brother. However, tragedy strikes again when his younger brother also passes away. Plunged into despair and loneliness, Ali becomes emotionally numb and reaches a state of absolute emptiness. Despite the efforts of friends, colleagues, his aunt, and a new romantic interest, who all try to help him express his grief, Ali remains unable to cry. They constantly urge him to confront his emotions and ask, "Chera Gerye Nemikoni ?" as they try to bring him back to life from his deep-seated sorrow.
